New Orleans Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. cut asparagus
    1 c. Ritz cracker crumbs
    1 3/4 c. grated American cheese
    1 can mushroom soup
    1 Tbsp. Lea & Perrins sauce
    1 large fryer, cooked and cut up
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Butter casserole and line with crumbs.
    Alternate layers of asparagus, chicken, cheese and crumbs.
    Prepare sauce by heating together milk, Lea & Perrins and mushroom soup.
    Pour sauce over casserole and top with cheese and crumbs.
    Dot with butter.
    Cook 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
