7-Layer Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. rice (uncooked)
    1 c. canned corn, drained
    salt and pepper
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1/2 can water
    1/2 c. onion, chopped
    1/2 c. bell pepper, chopped
    3/4 lb. raw ground beef
    salt and pepper
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    4 strips bacon, cut in half
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Place ingredients in order in a 2-quart baking dish with a tight fitting lid.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Uncover and bake 30 minutes longer, until bacon is crisp. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
