Blueberry Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. blueberries
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. melted butter or margarine
    1 1/2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 c. minus 2 Tbsp. all purpose flour
    1/4 c. milk
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    3 Tbsp. shortening
    1 egg
Preparation
    In a bowl, stir together blueberries, sugar, melted butter and lemon juice.
    Place in an 8x8x2 inch baking dish.
    Mix and sift dry ingredients; cut in shortening. Beat egg and milk together and stir into dry ingredients.
    Spoon mixture over berry layer and spread gently to cover.
    Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until browned.
    Serve plain, with whipped cream or with ice cream.
    8 servings.
