Peanut Butter Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sugar
    1 can evaporated milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. peanut butter
Preparation
    Combine sugar and milk in saucepan.
    Bring to boil and cook until mixture will form a soft ball in water (test in spoon). Remove from burner and add vanilla, butter and peanut butter.
    Mix until ingredients start to thicken.
    Pour into buttered cake pan and spread evenly.
    Cut into squares when cooled.
