Buttermilk Sherbet - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. buttermilk
    2/3 c. sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 c. crushed pineapple and juice
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 egg white
Preparation
    Mix buttermilk, sugar, salt, pineapple and vanilla.
    Freeze to a mush about 45 minutes.
    Whip egg white until stiff and fold into well-beaten mixture.
    Return to freezer and freeze without stirring.
