Struedel - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. flour
3 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 c. lard or Crisco
1 pkg. yeast in 1/2 c. warm water
3 egg yolks
1 c. warm milk
Preparation

Mix flour, salt , sugar and lard; mix well.
Add yeast, egg and milk.
Let stand 1 hour (can be stored in refrigerator).
Roll into square.
Add fruit of choice, such as canned cherries, apple, etc. Bake 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Make powdered sugar icing and drizzle on top.
Makes 2 to 3 crusts.
