Aunt Laura'S White Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. Crisco
    2 c. sugar
    2 3/4 c. plain flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. flavoring
    4 beaten egg whites
Preparation
    Cream sugar and Crisco; add flour, baking powder, salt, flavoring and milk alternately.
    When well mixed, fold in beaten egg whites.
    Pour into 2 lined round cake pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 35 minutes.
    Cool before icing.
