Corn Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine
    1/2 c. finely chopped onion
    6 Tbsp. flour
    4 chicken bouillon cubes
    2 1/2 c. hot water
    1 1/2 c. cubed, cooked potatoes
    1 (16 or 17 oz.) can whole kernel corn, drained
    3 c. hot milk
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. white pepper
Preparation
    Heat margarine in a large saucepan and cook onion until tender, but not brown.
    Add flour.
    Cook and stir for 5 minutes over low heat.
    Do not brown!
    Add bouillon cubes and hot water, stirring with a whisk to blend.
    Simmer for 5 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and bring to the boiling point.
    Cool slightly and serve!
