Patsy'S Mean Green Barbecue Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 lemon, cut in half
1 small jar honey Dijon mustard
6 to 8 large, green, almost ripe tomatoes, diced
2 green bell peppers, diced
3 large jalapeno peppers, diced
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/4 c. vinegar
3 Tbsp. Wright's liquid smoke or 2 Tbsp. hickory smoke granules
3/4 c. sugar or more for personal taste

Preparation

Place Dijon mustard in a medium saucepan.
Add salt, cayenne pepper, black pepper, Wright's liquid smoke and sugar.
Stir well. Set aside.
