Grandma'S Suet Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. white sugar
    1 c. suet, chopped fine
    1 box raisins
    1 box currants
    2 apples, chopped fine
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 egg, beaten
    1 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Add all ingredients together.
    Add enough sifted flour, about 2 cups, to make mixture stiff.
    Pour in tube pan or round pans and steam 3 hours.
