Yellow Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    3 c. flour
    2 1/2 tsp. Calumet
    1/2 tsp. salt
    6 eggs
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. almond
Preparation
    Cream butter, gradually add sugar, creaming until light and fluffy.
    Sift together flour, salt and baking powder.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each.
    Add flour mixture alternately with milk and flavorings, beating after each.
    Bake in layers at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
