Chicken Pot Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. chicken, cooked and diced up
    1 large pkg. mixed vegetables
    3 medium-size potatoes, boiled and diced
    chicken gravy
    2 tsp. onion salt
    2 c. sifted self-rising flour
    1/4 c. shortening
    2/3 to 3/4 c. milk
Preparation
    In
    long pan put the cooked chicken, vegetables and the potatoes.
    Pour
    chicken
    gravy
    over all of this.\tAdd 2 teaspoons
    onion salt.
    Make biscuits.
    Cut shortening into flour until
    it
    becomes\tcoarse crumbs. Add milk all at once.
    Stir quickly until dough follows form around bowl.
    Turn dough onto floured surface.
    Knead gently; roll out and cut out biscuits. Add biscuits
    to
    top of mixture. Bake at 350\u00b0 until biscuits are done, about 40 or 45 minutes.
