Chicken And Peas Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    16 to 17 oz. can peas or 2 c. fresh cooked peas
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    4 chicken breasts or other pieces
    1 tsp. salt
    pepper to taste
    1 bay leaf
Preparation
    Drain peas and cook liquid down to 1/4 or less. Combine drained peas and soup in a casserole. Add liquid. Rub chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Arrange on top, skin side up.
    Tuck 1/4 of the bay leaf under each piece. Cover casserole and bake in a moderate oven at 350\u00b0 about 1 hour.
    Uncover and continue to bake for 20 minutes or until brown and tender.
