Swedish Meatballs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1 c. soft bread crumbs
1 c. milk
1 egg, well beaten
1 onion, chopped fine
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation

Mix all these and form into 1-inch balls.
Brown them evenly in 2 tablespoons cooking oil.
Remove as they brown.
Add 1 cup or more boiling water to pan.
To make more gravy, add more hot water and beef bouillon.
Thicken with flour and water mixture. Return meatballs to gravy and simmer 1/2 hour or longer in covered pan.
Serve with rice.
