Mock Cheese Souffle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. grated cheese (Swiss, Cheddar, Mozzarella...)
    1/2 loaf French bread, cubed
    2 c. milk
    3 eggs, beaten
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    1/4 tsp. (or to taste) ground pepper grains (sprinkling)
Preparation
    Mix together milk, eggs, salt, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, dry mustard and ground pepper grains.
    Butter the casserole/souffle dish and, starting with bread, layer the bread and cheese.
    Pour milk and mixture slowly over casserole.
    Let stand for 1 hour or more.
    Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
