Canned Sweet Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 qt. sliced cucumbers
    1/4 c. salt
    5 c. sugar
    3 c. vinegar
    1 1/4 tsp. mustard seed
    1 1/4 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    In a pan, place cucumbers and salt.
    Cover with ice; let stand for 3 hours.
    In a saucepan, bring to boil the sugar, vinegar, mustard seed and celery seed.
    Cook for 3 minutes.
    Pack in jars.
