Ingredients

2 eggs, separated
1 1/2 c. dark brown sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. milk
4 Tbsp. flour
2 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 baked pie shell
Preparation

Mix brown sugar, flour, salt, milk and egg yolks in a saucepan.
Cook until thick.
Cool 10 minutes and add vanilla. Pour into pie shell.
Top with meringue and brown in oven.
