Easy Fried Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. long grain rice
1 3/4 c. water
1/4 c. oil
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 c. diced, cooked pork, beef, chicken or shrimp
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 Tbsp. soy sauce
Preparation

Bring water to boil.
Stir in the rice and simmer for 20 minutes.
Remove from heat and let it sit for about 15 minutes. In a large skillet, heat the oil.
Add the egg and cook until set, like scrambling eggs.
Add the meat.
Add rice, pepper and any desired vegetables such as green onion, bean sprouts, etc.
Stir to blend ingredients.
Add soy sauce and keep stirring until heated.
