Busy Day Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. lean chuck, cut in large cubes
    1 c. chopped celery
    2 c. canned tomatoes
    2 onions, thinly sliced
    4 carrots, sliced
    4 oz. can sliced water chestnuts
    1 1/2 Tbsp. Minute tapioca
    1/4 c. red or white wine (optional)
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Place all ingredients in Dutch oven or large pot.
    Cover and bake at 225\u00b0 for 5 to 6 hours.
    No stirring is necessary.
    Serve with rice or noodles or in bowls as is.
