Turnip Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium turnips
    3 Tbsp. melted margarine
    1/2 to 3/4 c. diced ham
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    pepper to taste
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 can cheese soup
    1/2 c. crushed cornflakes or cracker crumbs
Preparation
    Peel and slice turnips.
    Cook in salted water.
    Drain and put in 1 1/2-quart casserole.
    Brown ham slightly and add flour, salt and pepper.
    Add milk gradually while stirring.
    Cook until thick.
    Stir in soup.
    Pour sauce over turnips and top with crumbs.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until bubbly, about 15 to 20 minutes.
