Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 3/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
2/3 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. Snowdrift shortening
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 c. milk
1 c. mashed bananas
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Into a large bowl, sift dry ingredients.
Cut in Snowdrift shortening.
Add eggs, milk and bananas; mix well.
Stir in nuts and vanilla.
Pour into 9 x 5 x 3-inch greased loaf pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until done.
Makes 1 (9-inch) loaf.
