Swedish Meatballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hamburger
    1/2 c. oatmeal
    1 (8 oz.) jar jelly
    1 small can tomato paste
    1 c. ketchup
    garlic to taste
    basil to taste
    oregano to taste
    1 pepper (red or green), diced
    1 onion, diced
Preparation
    First combine ingredients for sauce including onion and pepper; set aside.
    Now take hamburger and oatmeal and mix together.
    Take some of the sauce and add to meat mix, just enough to mix easy.
    Roll into small balls, the longer you roll and work the balls, the more likely they'll be to stay together.
    Put in crock-pot on high until boiling.
    Turn down to low and simmer all day.
    This is also good with party franks, the key for good taste is time.
    So let them cook for as long as possible.
