Pepper Steak And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. cooked rice
    1 lb. round steak (1/2-inch thick)
    1 Tbsp. paprika
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. garlic salt
    1 1/2 c. beef broth
    1 c. sliced green onion (tops too)
    2 green peppers, cut in strips
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 c. each: Worcestershire sauce and water
    2 large fresh tomatoes, cut in eighths
Preparation
    Pound steak to 1/4-inch thick.
    Cut into 1/4-inch strips. Sprinkle with paprika and allow to stand while preparing other ingredients.
    In a large skillet, brown meat in butter.
    Add garlic and broth.
    Cover and simmer 30 minutes.
    Stir in onions and green peppers.
    Cover and cook until tender.
    Blend cornstarch, Worcestershire and water.
    Stir into meat mixture. Cook, stirring until clear and thickened, about 2 minutes.
    Add tomatoes and stir gently.
    Serve over bed of rice.
