Aunt Viola'S Donut Holes - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 3/4 c. flour
pinch of salt
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. margarine
1 egg
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. buttermilk (or sour milk)

Preparation

Mix in mixer.
Drop by small spoon's full in deep hot oil. May shake in bag of sugar or powdered sugar.
Mixture keeps well in refrigerator.
