Texas Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 (No. 2) can tomatoes (2 1/2 c.)
    2 sliced medium carrots
    1 sliced medium onion
    1/2 green pepper
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1/2 Tbsp. chili powder
    3 beef bouillon cubes
    2 1/2 c. hot water
    2 c. diced potatoes
Preparation
    Cook ground beef in a skillet, brown but not crisp.
    Add next 6 ingredients and simmer a short time.
    Add bouillon cubes with hot water and cook 1 hour.
    Add potatoes and cook 1/2 hour.
