Dene'S Chicken Dressing(Bread Dressing) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    20 biscuits, lightly brown and dry
    10 slices toast (dry)
    1 medium onion, grated
    1/2 qt. chopped celery
    1 egg
    1 stick butter, melted
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    2 cans chicken broth or 3 c. stock
Preparation
    In large bowl, crumble biscuits and toast.
    Precook onion and celery in boiling water until softened; drain, then add to biscuits.
    Add egg (beaten),
    melted butter, salt and baking powder.
    Slowly add broth or stock until pouring consistency.
    Can add pepper, celery seed or poultry seasoning for added taste. Pour into buttered glass dishes no more than 1 1/2 inches thick. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 35 to 45 minutes until edges brown.
