Cream Of Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. sliced potatoes
    1/2 c. sliced carrots
    6 slices bacon
    1 c. sliced celery
    4 c. skim milk
    1 onion, chopped
Preparation
    Cook the potatoes and carrots in boiling water until tender. Drain. Saute bacon until crisp. Drain on paper towels and crumble. Saute onion and celery until tender.
    Combine potatoes, carrots, onion/celery mixture, bacon and milk in pot. Simmer for 30 minutes.
    May also add cheese as desired.
    Makes about 2 quarts or 8 (1 cup) servings.
