Pennsylvania Dutch Red Beet Eggs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 can beets
1 c. vinegar
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
4 cloves
cinnamon
6 hard-boiled eggs
Preparation

Drain beets.
Measure juice and add water if necessary to make 1 cup.
Add vinegar, sugar, salt and spices.
Bring to a boil. Pour hot solution over beets.
When cool, add peeled eggs and let stand in sour juice 24 hours.
