Pork Chops With Apple Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. boneless pork chops
    1 Tbsp. minced garlic
    1/3 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    3 c. boiling water
    1 can applesauce
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    2 to 3 Tbsp. oil
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
    In a well heated skillet brown pork chops on both sides well (coat pan with 2 to 3 tablespoons oil). Arrange browned chops in a baking dish.
    Saute garlic in fat left in skillet chops were browned in.
    Add flour, salt and pepper. Mix well.
    Add water; cook, stirring constantly, until mixture boils and is thick.
    Add applesauce and lemon juice.
    Mix.
    Pour over chops.
    Bake for 1 hour or until tender.
