Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

4 to 6 green MacIntosh apples
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder

Preparation

Slice apples and put in bottom of pie plate.
Mix remainder of ingredients in a small bowl.
Pour mixture over apples; distribute mixture to edges evenly.
Dot with butter and cinnamon.
Sprinkle with 3 tablespoons water.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
Chill if cake sits for more than 12 hours.
Can be served with milk or ice cream.
