Cream Of Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 slices bacon
    1/3 c. chopped onion
    6 c. shredded raw potatoes
    2 tsp. salt
    3 c. boiling water
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
    1 c. water
    3 Tbsp. butter
    4 level Tbsp. flour
    1 Tbsp. chicken base
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Fry bacon (chopped) in skillet; remove and drain.
    To bacon fat, add onion, potatoes, salt and boiling water.
    Cover; simmer for 15 minutes.
    Add broccoli that was cooked in 1 cup water until well done and mashed fine or has been pureed in blender.
    Simmer for 5 minutes.
