Italian Sausage Sauce(For Quick Spinach And Sausage Lasagna) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    3/4 lb. sweet Italian sausage, remove casing
    3 (15 oz.) jars marinara sauce
    1 1/4 c. water
    1/2 c. dry red wine
    1/4 tsp. sugar
Preparation
    In large saucepan, heat oil.
    Add sausage and cook 3 to 5 minutes, stirring to break up meat, until lightly browned.
    Pour off and discard fat.
    Stir in remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat and cook 10 minutes.
    Stir occasionally.
    Use in Quick Spinach and Sausage Lasagna.
    Makes 8 cups.
