Sausage Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sliced potatoes
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 c. sliced carrots
    1/2 c. raw rice
    1 lb. bulk sausage, browned
    1 1/2 c. tomato juice
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. sugar (optional)
Preparation
    Layer ingredients in a large casserole dish as listed.
    Cover casserole and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
