Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    20 Ritz crackers, crushed (but not fine)
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. pecans, chopped
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 egg whites
Preparation
    Mix crackers with 1/2 cup sugar and pecans.
    Beat egg whites until stiff.
    Gradually add 1/2 cup sugar and vanilla; mix with cracker mixture.
    Put into a 9-inch greased pie pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Top with whipped cream and shaved chocolate or chocolate bits.
