Puppy Chow - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 box Crispix
1 lb. peanuts
1 c. chocolate chips
1 stick margarine
1/2 c. creamy peanut butter
1 1/4 c. powdered sugar

Preparation

Mix Crispix and peanuts; set aside.
Melt together chocolate chips, margarine and peanut butter.
Pour the chocolate mixture over the Crispix and peanuts; mix well.
Measure powdered sugar and pour into a large brown grocery bag.
Add cereal and shake well until all sugar coats cereal.
Spread out on cookie sheet to cool and dry.
Makes enough to fill 5-quart
ice cream pail.
