Seven Layer Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 head lettuce, chopped
1/2 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. diced green pepper
1 (10 oz.) box frozen peas, cooked and drained
1 pt. mayonnaise
2 Tbsp. sugar
8 strips bacon, cooked, drained and crumbled
1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation

In a large glass bowl, layer lettuce, celery, onion, pepper and peas.
Spread mayonnaise to the edges of the bowl, covering peas.
Sprinkle with sugar.
Top with crumbled bacon and cheese. Cover tightly and refrigerate at least 6 hours before serving.
