Pear Honey - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 lb. pears, peeled and ground with coarse blade on food chopper
    7 lb. sugar
    1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple
    1 can coconut
Preparation
    Mix coarse ground pears and sugar; cook in a large kettle until thick.
    Add crushed pineapple; cook until thick.
    Add 1 can coconut and mix well.
    Put in jars and seal.
    Makes 10 pints.
