Ingredients

1 1/3 c. oatmeal
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
1 c. chocolate chips
1 1/3 c. flour, mixed with 1 tsp. baking soda, 1 tsp. baking powder and 1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. melted butter or margarine
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Empty jar contents into a mixing bowl. Blend ingredients with hands. Add butter or margarine, egg and vanilla. Continue mixing with your hands until blended. Shape dough into balls and place 2-inches apart on greased baking sheet. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool. Makes 3 dozen.
