Old Time Vinegar Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 c. cold water
3 egg yolks
1 whole egg
3 heaping Tbsp. flour
2 Tbsp. butter
5 Tbsp. vinegar
2 tsp. lemon flavoring
1 baked pie shell

Preparation

Mix ingredients together thoroughly.
Cook until thick, pour into baked pie shell.
Beat whites of egg until stiff.
Add 4 tablespoons sugar and spread on pie.
Place in oven and brown lightly.
