Shami - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lbs. beef stew
    2 handfuls channa dal
    2 med. onions, coarsely chopped
    2 Tbsp. ginger/garlic paste
    2 tsp. cayenne pepper
    2 tsp. salt
    1 small bunch cilantro
    3 cloves
    5 cardamom pods
    1/2 tsp. shah zeera (caraway)
    1-2 eggs
Preparation
    Mix all of the ingredients and cook with water, 1 hour in pressure cooker or 2 hours on stovetop, over low heat.
    Grind in food processor and add 1-2 eggs.
    Make 2-inch balls; flatten into patties and pan-fry.
