Layer Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small head lettuce
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1/2 c. chopped red onion
    1/2 c. chopped cauliflower
    1 pkg. frozen peas
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 c. mayonnaise
    4 oz. grated cheese
    bacon bits
Preparation
    Cut lettuce into bite size pieces.
    Place in bottom of glass pan.
    Layer all other vegetables.
    Mix sugar and mayonnaise; spread over the top.
    Then put cheese and bacon bits on top. Refrigerate overnight.
