Hot Milk Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. milk
    4 eggs
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 stick butter
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. vanilla or lemon flavoring
Preparation
    Beat eggs until very light.
    Add sugar and beat until fluffy. Add flour, baking powder, salt and flavoring; beat well.
    Heat milk and butter until it boils.
    Add to egg mixture and beat well. Bake in greased and floured tube pan at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes. Remove from oven; cool 5 minutes in pan.
    Turn onto cake plate and cover.
    Let steam stay until cake is cooled.
    This makes it very moist.
    Needs no icing.
