Old Fashion Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
1 c. sour milk
3 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1 scant tsp. soda
4 c. (about) sifted flour

Preparation

Cream sugar
and
shortening;
add beaten eggs and sour milk. Add salt
and
soda.
Gradually add flour to form stiff dough. Roll out
dough
and
cut
with
large round or shaped cutter. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
Makes 6 dozen.
