Sweetheart Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained (reserve juice)
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 Tbsp. plain gelatin in 1/4 c. water (softened)
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 Tbsp. maraschino juice
4 to 6 oz. Philadelphia cream cheese
1 c. Cool Whip or whipped cream
12 maraschino cherries, chopped fine
Preparation

Heat juice, sugar and softened gelatin.
Stir in lemon and cherry juice; cool.
Cream the cheese with some of the juice.
Mix in whipped cream or Cool Whip and pineapple.
Mold in 8 x 8-inch pan.
