Cinnamon Braid - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 1/2 c. flour
3/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
2 pkg. yeast
3/4 c. milk
1/2 c. water
1 c. margarine
3 egg yolks at room temperature
2 tsp. cinnamon
melted margarine
Preparation

Combine 1 1/2 cups flour, 1/4 cup sugar, salt and yeast.
Heat milk, water and 1 cup margarine to 120\u00b0 to 130\u00b0.
Add yolks and 1/2 cup flour.
Beat on high for 2 minutes.
Stir in more flour to make stiff batter.
Cover bowl tightly and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
Combine the last 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon.
Turn dough out on floured board and roll into six ropes (18-inches long).
Braid three ropes together.
Seal ends firmly.
Place on greased baking sheet.
Do the last three ropes.
Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
Cover and let rise until double (about 1 hour).
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
