Banana Nut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. Crisco or butter
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. milk
3 medium bananas, mashed
1/2 c. or more chopped nuts
2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder

Preparation

Blend together sugar, Crisco, eggs, vanilla, milk, bananas and nuts.
Sift together flour, soda, salt and baking powder.
Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture alternating with milk.
Bake in 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan or 2 (8-inch) layers at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
