Corn Dogs - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/4 c. meal
1/4 c. flour
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 egg
1/4 c. milk
1 Tbsp. shortening
1 pkg. franks

Preparation

Mix meal, flour, salt and baking powder.
Add milk, egg and oil.
Beat until smooth.
Put franks in batter.
Cover completely.
