Mom'S Shepherd Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. hamburg
    1 large onion
    2 c. mashed potatoes
    1 egg
    2 (16 oz.) cans creamed corn
    1/4 c. Parmesan cheese, grated
Preparation
    Cook hamburg over medium heat (so it does not really brown) with cut up onions.
    Pour off fat and liquid; set aside.
    Mix mashed potatoes with cheese, egg, salt and pepper to taste.
    In deep ovenproof dish, layer hamburg, onion mixture and creamed corn. Top with potato mixture.
    Cook in oven at 300\u00b0 until bubbly and potato topping is dry and crisp.
    Sprinkle with paprika for color.
