Flapjack - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 oz. butter
    3 oz. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. dark Karo syrup
    5 oz. Quaker oats
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease 8-inch cake tin.
    Cut butter into 4 parts and melt in saucepan with sugar and syrup; stir well with wooden spoon.
    Remove from heat and add oats; stir well.
    Spoon mixture into cake tin and put into oven for 15 to 20 minutes. Remove from oven and leave to cool for 25 minutes.
    Cut into 8 or 12 pieces; lift out and leave until cold.
    Store in airtight container.
