Whole Wheat Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. milk
1/2 c. maple syrup
1/4 c. butter
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 pkg. dry yeast
1 1/2 c. warm water
2 1/2 c. flour
5 to 5 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
Preparation

Heat milk, syrup, butter, sugar and salt until warm and butter is almost melted.
In large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Let sit five minutes.
Add warm milk mixture and 2 1/2 cups flour, beat well.
Add 2 1/2 cups wheat flour, beat about 4 minutes or until smooth.
Stir in 1 1/2 cups wheat flour, turn out onto floured surface and knead until smooth, about 5 minutes, using rest of wheat flour.
Place dough in greased bowl, turn up, cover and let rise until doubled.
Punch down, divide in half, shape into 2 balls.
Cover, let rest 10 minutes.
Shape into 2 loaves, place in 2 greased loaf pans.
Cover, let rise until double.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
